Go2Do help

Download the Windows x64 installer from the Go2Do download page, run it, and follow the installation prompts. Then open Go2Do and connect your Google account. Check the release notes for version-specific changes.

In Go2Do, choose Connect Google account. Complete sign-in in your browser and review Google's permission screen. Return to Go2Do and let the first sync finish.

No manual import is needed for your Google Tasks lists. Connect the same Google account, then sync to load your existing tasks.

The published download is a Windows x64 installer. We have not yet completed separate compatibility checks on Windows 10 and Windows 11, so we cannot confirm support for every version of either system. No ARM64 or 32-bit Windows installer is currently listed.

Check your internet connection, confirm you are using the intended Google account, and choose Refresh & Sync. Check Sync Status for waiting or failed changes. If the app asks you to sign in again, reconnect your account.

After the first successful sync, cached tasks are available offline. Task additions and edits wait locally for a later sync. Sign-in and fetching Google Calendar events require a network connection.

Open Settings → Sync, choose the Google calendars you want to show, and refresh. Check that you granted calendar access and are viewing the right month.

Sign out in Go2Do's account settings. You can also review or revoke Go2Do's access in the third-party connections section of your Google Account.

Use Ctrl + N to open quick add, Ctrl + F to search, and Ctrl + , for Settings. You can change shortcuts in Settings → Shortcuts. The desktop app also supports a shortcut to show or hide its main window.

In the quick-add window, type "Send the proposal tomorrow at 9 am" or "明天下午三点开会". Go2Do fills the detected date and time while you type and removes recognized fragments from the title when you leave the field. Check the values before saving. Go2Do stores the reminder time in the task notes; it does not sync a scheduled time or phone notification through the Google Tasks API.

Open Settings → Appearance to choose English or Chinese and a light, dark, or system theme. The website's language switch is independent of the app's language setting.

Open Archive / Trash, find a completed task, and choose Restore to reopen it in its original list. Reopening a completed task does not recover a task permanently deleted from Google.

Yes. Choose a list in the sidebar to work with it, or choose All tasks to view tasks loaded from the connected account. Multiple lists within one Google account are different from managing several Google accounts together.

Use Ctrl + F to focus task search. Search follows the current list or smart view. Choose All tasks first if you want to search the loaded lists together. Completed tasks follow the Show completed setting.

The Google Tasks API used by Go2Do reads and writes task dates without time values. Go2Do quick-add reminder times are stored in task notes. Google Calendar events have separate start and end times.

In the board view, drag an open task between the High, Medium, and Low priority columns to change its priority in Go2Do. This does not rearrange the sidebar lists or set a manual task order.

The task list automatically shows earlier due dates first, with undated tasks after dated tasks. Tasks with the same date are sorted by title. Update a task's due date to change where it appears; there is no separate sort-by-date button.

After marking a task complete, choose Undo in the confirmation message to reopen it. You can also restore a completed task from Archive / Trash. This undo action applies to completion; it is not a general undo for edits or permanent deletion.

You can create lists and switch between them in the sidebar. Go2Do does not currently provide drag-and-drop reordering for sidebar lists. Dragging a task between board columns changes its priority, not the list order.
