App Terms of Service

The service

Go2Do provides a Windows desktop workspace for managing authorized Google Tasks and viewing or working with supported Google Calendar features. Features depend on the version, your permissions, your device, network availability and Google's services. Go2Do is an independent application, not a Google product or a service endorsed by Google.

Accounts and your responsibilities

You must be entitled to use the Google account you connect and grant access only to information you are authorized to manage. Review Google's permission screen and protect your account and device. Google account access and use of Google's services are also subject to Google's own terms.

Use the app lawfully. Do not use it to access another person's data without authorization, interfere with the service, distribute malicious content or infringe others' rights. If you cannot enter into these terms independently under applicable law, obtain the appropriate parent or guardian's involvement.

Your content, synchronization and backups

You retain your rights in the tasks, notes and calendar information you manage. You authorize the processing necessary to carry out the actions you request, including synchronization with Google and local caching for offline use.

Synchronization can be delayed or fail because of network interruptions, authorization changes, service limits or conflicts. Review important changes and keep suitable backups. Offline edits must be synchronized before they appear in Google or on other devices. Google Tasks due dates do not by themselves provide time-based reminders.

Feedback and app releases

You may voluntarily submit feedback through supported app features. Submit only information you are entitled to share. Feedback handling does not guarantee a response or a fix by a particular date. Collection and use are described in the App Privacy Policy. Published version notes describe the relevant release; availability and supported systems may change. Download installers only through official Go2Do links.

GA4 service tracking and privacy

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to track and analyze service usage. Relevant usage events and technical analytics data are uploaded to Google's GA4 servers over the internet for reporting, reliability analysis and product improvement. Details of the data categories, purposes, sharing, retention and your choices are set out in the App Privacy Policy.

Task contents, calendar-event contents, Google passwords, authorization tokens, names and email addresses must not be sent to GA4 as analytics event data. Acceptance of these service terms does not replace separate analytics consent or another authorization where required by law. For privacy or analytics-related requests, contact info@datamega.net.

Software rights and charges

Use of the software is subject to the license supplied with the relevant release. These terms do not transfer ownership of our software, trademarks or other intellectual property to you and do not limit rights granted by applicable open-source licenses or mandatory law.

Any price, trial period, subscription, renewal or refund conditions must be clearly stated at the official download or purchase point before you agree to them. This policy does not create an unannounced payment or automatic-renewal obligation.

Changes, availability and responsibility

We may improve or change the app, maintain services or discontinue features. We will provide notice of material changes where required by applicable law. Google APIs and other third-party services may also change independently.

We aim to provide a useful and reliable app but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, error-free synchronization or permanent availability of third-party services. Responsibility for losses is determined by applicable law and any expressly agreed service commitments. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or restrict mandatory consumer rights.

Stopping use and resolving concerns

You may stop using and uninstall Go2Do and revoke its Google access. Stopping use does not automatically delete information in your Google account, remaining local files or analytics data already processed. See the App Privacy Policy for data requests.

We may restrict use where reasonably necessary to address unlawful activity or a material breach of these terms, with notice where appropriate and legally required. Contact us first about a service dispute so we can try to resolve it. Applicable law and the competent dispute-resolution authority will be determined under the rules that apply to the particular dispute; mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Updates and contact
